Current state of research and teaching activities

肝臓、胆道、膵臓の悪性および良性疾患を対象として、外科手術と癌の集学的治療、基礎研究、臨床研究を行っています。各診療ガイドラインに基づいた診療だけでなく、進行癌に対しても、これまでに培った手術手技と研究成果に裏打ちされた治療に取り組んでいます。また、より低侵襲な治療を目指すべく、腹腔鏡手術を積極的に導入しています。臨床研究では、特に難治癌である膵臓癌を中心に、当科主導の研究だけでなく、他施設共同研究にも積極的に参加し、治療成績の向上に努めています。
